Students are required to have a well-maintained acoustic piano, or a weighted, full-size keyboard (88 keys with a sustain pedal) at home for practice.

I teach students as young as 5 years old. However, acceptance also depends on other factors such as the student's ability to concentrate and their readiness to engage in structured learning experiences.

Parents’ involvement in student's practice at home is highly encouraged, especially for young beginners. Setting out a few minutes each day to assist your child’s practice is extremely helpful. Parents are encouraged to attend and observe lessons for beginners and students ages 5-6.

Daily practice is highly encouraged. The amount of time to practice depends on the student's level and age. It is important to practice with specific goals in mind. Thinking about the goals to accomplish during a practice session is much more important than focusing solely on the time spent.
